My Wall Is Your Filter Bubble at Barnaby Festival: Documentation
Tue 26 Jun 2018My Wall Is Your Filter Bubble was presented at Barnaby Festival 2018, as part of AND’s annual touring programme. Originally commissioned for AND during the festival in 2017, the Augmented Reality exhibition works with geofences, to take a critical look at the borders and silos we are confronted with in our online lives.
Over two days, the exhibition was viewed by almost five hundred festival goers, guided by the volunteers who assisted in accessing the work through QR codes stationed across Sparrow Park, Macclesfield. You can see highlights of the weekend’s events on our Flickr here:
For more information on My Wall Is Your Filter Bubble, please look at our touring page. Or read about the work with our interview about border politics with My Wall Is Your Filter Bubble curators Doreen A. Ríos and Matthew Plummer-Fernandez on the AND journal.
Artists: Diego Ortega, Alfredo Salazar-Caro, Leslie Garcia, Martha Maya, Arcangelo Constantini, Gibrann Morgado.
My Wall is Your Filter Bubble is supported by British Council, Mexico and Arts Council England and was originally part of AND Festival 2017 under the programme strand Dis-Location.
